Our curriculum provides students with real-world opportunities to engage in science, not just memorizing formulas and facts. We help students develop applicable skills, explore real problems and develop meaningful solutions.
Project-based learning, flipped classrooms, depth of knowledge, critical-thinking skills and differentiated instruction are educational buzzwords today. This course incorporates all of these concepts organically to teach science standards.
Conservation Science was developed for today's teachers and students by a science teacher and curriculum-development expert, and in conjunction with several state wildlife agencies and biologists.
WHAT STUDENTS ARE SAYING
I thought this would be my least favorite class, it ended up being my favorite class. It was eye-opening and interactive.
I look forward to using the knowledge I learned in real life.
One of the main things I’ll take from this course is how interconnected various elements of conservation are.
